Some artists discover their craft early. Others circle around it for years, carrying the spark quietly until the moment it demands to be followed. For Anastasia Rassia, the vision behind Moments To Keep Wedding Photography, the path to wedding imagery was neither obvious nor linear—but unmistakably meant.
“Even as a teenager, I found myself quietly observing people—turning gestures, glances, and emotions into stories in my mind,” she recalls. Influenced by Tarkovsky, Wim Wenders, and the poetic language of cinema, Anastasia grew up studying frames long before she ever held a camera professionally. “My father was an amateur photographer, and he was the first to spark my curiosity for the medium… The need for artistic expression never truly left me.”
Though she initially pursued a more academic path, her heart kept tracing light. Eventually, she chose to honor that inner calling and studied at Leica Akademie in Greece—a decision she describes simply: “That changed everything.”
Many photographers grow up dreaming of weddings. Anastasia wasn’t one of them.
“I loved portraiture with a conceptual, storytelling approach, and I imagined myself pursuing photojournalism one day,” she shares. But everything shifted in 2018, when she was asked to photograph a family friend’s wedding.
She said yes. And it changed the course of her life.
One year later, she launched her brand. Since then, her work has evolved into a signature blend of cinematic emotion and quiet luxury—earning her a place among Athens’ most respected wedding photographers.
When asked how she describes her distinctive aesthetic, Anastasia answers with clarity:
“My style is luxury editorial, but with heart. I’m drawn to the quiet, fleeting moments that hold the true essence of a celebration: the breath before a kiss, the lingering touch, the laughter no one else notices.”
To her, wedding photography isn’t about perfect poses—it’s about presence. It’s about capturing the kind of images that feel like art because they are art.
“I guide just enough to help you look effortless and refined, while still allowing space for honesty, emotion, and movement.”
It’s this balance—editorial finesse with documentary soul—that makes her galleries feel alive.
Anastasia photographs with Nikon Z-series mirrorless bodies and a carefully selected range of lenses, from bold wides to intimate portrait lengths.
“I always carry backup equipment, plenty of memory, and lighting tools to ensure every moment is captured beautifully, no matter the setting. While gear is important, it’s the eye behind the lens that truly shapes the art.”
Precision matters to her—but intention matters more.
Editing, for Anastasia, is not a technical step. It’s part of the narrative.
“I hand-edit each image, adjusting color, light, and tone to ensure the mood feels true to the moment.”
Each photograph becomes its own piece, shaped by the environment it was born in—sunlit terraces, candlelit churches, windswept islands.
When asked what she loves most, she laughs softly—because there isn’t just one answer.
“I enjoy going through the moodboard of each couple, imagining how the day will look like and finally getting to see it in real life! I love brainstorming ideas for the couple session… I also love the editing part as I finally have a finished piece of art! And last but not least, I love being self-employed and work with my own policies & standards.”
Her passion extends far beyond the click of a shutter. She cherishes the entire creative arc, from anticipation to completion.
Anastasia believes great images come from alignment and trust.
“I enjoy the anticipation of a couple’s story coming to life… imagining the atmosphere, the textures, the light.”
On the wedding day, she guides with softness—never interrupting the flow, always watching for truth.
“Seeing the final images come together, knowing they will be looked at on anniversaries for a lifetime, is incredibly fulfilling.”
Working independently allows her to serve couples with a level of artistic integrity that feels deeply personal.
Anastasia provides her couples with a full preparation guide, but two insights stand above the rest:
1. The venue matters.
“It sets the tone for your day and strongly influences the look and feel of your photographs.”
2. Prioritize your own wishes.
“This is your day, so focus on what you and your partner truly want.”
Authenticity is her compass—and she encourages couples to follow theirs.
“Destination weddings? Yes! I absolutely love them,” she smiles.
Santorini, Mykonos, Rome, Paris, Provence, Lake Como—the list is long, and she could easily keep going. Each destination offers new light, new architecture, new emotion.
Anastasia Rassia’s photography feels like a whispered story—cinematic, romantic, profoundly human. With Moments To Keep Wedding Photography, she captures not only what a wedding looks like, but what it feels like.
Every glance, every breath, every fleeting connection becomes part of a visual narrative crafted with intention, elegance, and soul.
Her work doesn’t simply document a wedding day.
It preserves the heartbeat of it.
