Looking back, there are lessons she would share with the Jenny who was just starting out.
I’d tell myself: don’t try to please everyone. Focus on finding your own voice and style, because that’s what will attract the right clients. Learn the business side early — marketing, contracts, pricing — it’s just as important as the art. And most of all, trust that consistency and genuine connection with people will take you further than any trend.

What can couples do, in Jenny’s view, to make the most of their photo experience?
“The best tip is to trust your vendors — you’ve chosen them for a reason — but don’t be afraid to share your vision and preferences.” She also adds that being present matters: “For photos specifically, I always suggest couples focus on being present and enjoying the moment. The more relaxed and happy you feel, the more beautiful and natural the images will be.”
