Coryn’s team uses both digital and film cameras to create galleries that are seamlessly cohesive. “We shoot on both multiple digital and film cameras throughout the day,” she explains. “Which format we choose depends on the lighting, feel, and the moment. We seamlessly marry the two in the gallery.”
Her editing process is equally intentional. “My editing style is inspired by film—featuring true-to-life colors with a soft, romantic touch.” The result? Imagery that feels light-filled, elegant, and effortlessly cinematic.
When asked what she enjoys most about being a photographer, Coryn’s answer is simple yet profound:
I unapologetically love capturing beautiful things and telling stories. The fact that I get to document my couples’ stories so that they can relive it for years to come—or that their grandchildren can discover how fashionable grandma was once upon a time—is not lost on me. I consider it a huge honor.

Coryn believes that collaboration and trust are the foundation of exceptional imagery. “The best results in life and in work come from collaboration,” she says. “I build a layer of trust with my couples by going over what elements of the day are most important to them long before their wedding day. Looking back, Coryn offers valuable wisdom for photographers just starting their journey. “The best advice I would give my past self would be to stop trying to be what the industry tells you you have to be,” she shares. “Do your research and find out what part of this career speaks to you. Then break free and do what fulfills you. The turning point in my career came when I stopped trying to keep up with trends. As soon as I decided to do things my way, to create the art I wanted to create, my ideal clients found me and the world opened up.”
