Born in the quiet town of Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, our founder didn’t expect to become a wedding photographer. "Photography was never part of the plan," he admits. Yet a borrowed camera during college sparked a passion that changed everything: “This was the kind that didn’t let me sleep at all.” In his final year of engineering, he gave up a stable job offer to pursue his dream.

Today, Epic Stories has documented over 200 weddings across India and abroad, including the high-profile union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. But fame hasn’t changed his core belief: it’s always “about the emotions. The love. The families. The little moments in between.”

Editorial Precision with Emotional Heart

When asked about his signature style, he reflects, “If I had to put it in simple words… my style is where fashion meets feeling.”

He describes his approach as editorial—clean lines, intentional framing, editorial in style—but always rooted in authentic emotion. A bride adjusting her necklace in a softly lit room isn’t just a beautiful frame: it’s the nervous excitement in her eyes, her mother behind her holding back tears. That delicate balance is what makes an image timeless.

Tools of the Heart and Craft

He shares the technical side with ease: his go-to kit includes the Sony a7R5 alongside 16–35 mm, 50 mm f/1.2, and 50–150 mm f/2 lenses, plus strobes and continuous lights. But, he emphasizes, “the real magic happens not because of the gear, but in how you use it to frame emotion.”

Editing: Enhancing, Not Altering

On post-production, he says, “Post-processing for me is all about enhancing the story, not changing it.” He prefers a clean, timeless aesthetic with natural, rich tones, balanced warmth, and carefully maintained skin tones—so people look like themselves, only at their best. The edit should “quietly support the emotion in the photo… not scream for attention.”

The Joy of Being a Storyteller

“Photographing a wedding is a privilege – to travel, meet new people, experience cultures, and be part of someone’s most personal day,” he shares. He imagines a quiet moment decades in the future: looking back and feeling “full," knowing the journey changed him. “It’s made me more observant, more grounded, more emotional… and above all, a better human being.”

Working with Couples: A Partnership in Trust

He describes his client relationships as deeply collaborative: “We’re not just vendors who come, shoot, and leave. We become a part of the family.” Every wedding starts with listening—understanding values, essential moments, and the energy a couple shares. Honest communication and mutual trust, he believes, result in images couples feel deeply connected to.

“Every couple, every wedding is different,” he says. Whether it’s a two-day intimate celebration or a grand, multi-day event, Epic Stories crafts custom packages—team size, coverage, deliverables—all tailored to match their vision. “It’s their story. I’m just lucky I get to tell it.”

Tips for Couples: Emotion Over Perfection

His advice focuses on presence, not perfection:

  • Be yourself. Magic happens when couples are present, not posing.

  • Don’t stress timelines. Delayed moments can become the most meaningful.

  • Steal a quiet moment. Ten minutes together can create the most powerful frames.

  • Trust your team. Relaxation begets authenticity—and beautiful photos.

Favorite Destinations: The Soul of Place Matters

Yes, Epic Stories embraces destination weddings. Though they've traveled from the US to Kenya, Europe to the Middle East, there's one place close to the heart: Rajasthan. He says, “There’s something timeless about it… the culture, the colors, the grandeur. Every corner feels like a frame waiting to happen.”

A Final Word: The Blessing Behind the Lens

He reflects:

“For most people, their wedding day is probably the only time in their whole life when they are seen and felt so deeply, just as they are… Real. Raw. Full of love.”

He continues,

“Years down the line… photographs will bring it all back... the excitement, the nerves, the softness in your partner’s eyes... To freeze that emotion—that’s not just a job… it’s a blessing.”

Epic Stories blends editorial refinement with heartfelt storytelling, inviting couples into a visual journey filled with authenticity and grace—one frame at a time.
