Anastasiia Kharyna’s path to wedding photography is anything but ordinary. Trained as a doctor, she understands nuance, patience, and the power of human connection — qualities that now shape her work behind the camera.
“My journey in photography began 11 years ago.”
“By profession, I am a doctor, and during my studies I hardly had time for photography. But after graduating from university five years ago, I returned to the camera with a new passion.”
Since returning, she’s photographed women’s portraits, families, and commercial projects — yet one genre captured her heart completely:
“Since then, I have explored different directions: women’s portraits, family sessions, and commercial shoots. Yet, it is weddings and couples in love that inspire me the most.”

There is not a single day when I don’t think about the perfect shot, the atmosphere of a wedding, or the genuine emotions of people in front of my lens. I am simply obsessed with what I do, because photography is not just a job for me, it is a way to live through hundreds of love stories and preserve them for eternity.

“I always start by listening carefully to my clients—their vision, expectations, and even small details that matter to them. Then I share my professional perspective and guide them with suggestions on how to achieve the best results. During the photoshoot, I create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere so they feel natural and confident in front of the camera. My goal is to combine their wishes with my artistic vision to create photographs that truly reflect their story and emotions.”

“Before every wedding, I schedule an online call with the couple to discuss all the details. During this call, I explain how the photography process works, share useful tips on posing and timing, and answer all of their questions. This helps my couples feel prepared, relaxed, and confident on the wedding day, so they can fully enjoy the moment while I capture their story.”
Based in Bulgaria and available across Europe, Anastasiia lights up at the thought of new backdrops and traditions.
“Yes! I absolutely love traveling and I’m always excited to say yes to new adventures. Destination weddings are a wonderful way to combine unique locations, different cultures, and the couple’s love story. Some of my favorite destinations so far have been Italy, France, and Greece, but I’m always open to new ideas and happy to explore new places with my couples.”
