Some photographers chase trends; others chase truth. Sarajevo’s Muna Nazak belongs firmly to the latter—quietly shaping wedding stories with natural light, patient timing, and a reverence for real emotion. “I am a wedding photographer based in Bosnia and Herzegovina,Sarajevo. Photography has been a part of my life for many years, at first I started my photography journey with portraits and landscapes, but I always found myself drawn to weddings.” That pull evolved into a calling: “I started as a passion for cepturing genuine emotions and natural beauty turned into a proffesion that allows me to tell love stories trought timeless images that can be experienced an documented on a wedding day.”

Muna’s path took shape where human connection meets atmosphere. Landscapes taught her composition; portraits taught her presence. Weddings taught her why. In her words: “I am a wedding photographer based in Bosnia and Herzegovina,Sarajevo… I always found myself drawn to weddings.”

I love Nikon, and I have nikon Z8 and Nikon D850 , and lenses sigma 24mm 1.4, sigma 35mm 1.4, nikkor 85mm 1,8 Godox V1 for Nikon.

Editing Philosophy: Gentle by Design

Her post-production is intentionally light-handed. “In my post-processing , I focus on enhacing the natural beauty.I work with subtle color grading, gantle contrast, and soft light adjustments to keep the images feeling warm, timeless, and true to life, without making them look over-edited.”

What She Cherishes Most

It’s always the people. “Being with people, and being able to cepture their honest moments.”

Listen first, guide second. “Listening carefully to the vision and uderstanding what`s most important to them.I guide them through the process, offering ideas and suggestions while respecting their preferences, so that together we can create images and truly reflect their story and desired outcome.Communication,trust and collaboration are key to making the experience enjoyable and the results meaningful.”

Advice to Her Younger Self

If I were starting now my career and launching my own photography business, I would tell myself to trust my vision and be patient with the process.Every challenge is a lesson, and every small step forward brings you closer to creating work that truly reflects your style and passion and not some else`s vision.
