Behind his lens, Roman relies on his trusted Canon R6 Mark II paired with an arsenal of versatile lenses: 16-28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm. This setup allows him to seamlessly transition between sweeping wide shots and intimate close-ups.
Each lens has its own personality, and together they give me the freedom to tell the complete story — from the grandeur of the setting to the smallest details that make each couple unique.
When it comes to editing, Roman believes in enhancing rather than altering. His post-processing approach ensures that colors remain pure, tones feel authentic, and emotions shine through. The goal is to create timeless photographs that will never feel dated.
For Roman, photography is as much about human connection as it is about technical skill.
What I enjoy most about being a photographer is meeting new people.
This openness helps him create a comfortable environment for couples, making the process of being photographed feel natural and enjoyable.
His easygoing personality shapes his workflow: "Usually, it starts with a light conversation — I try to learn a little about the person and share something about myself. Then I gradually begin the photoshoot. In communication, I’m easygoing and usually guide the client through conversation in the direction I need to achieve the best result."
Roman knows that no two weddings are alike. That’s why he offers couples the flexibility of custom packages tailored to their specific needs. Whether it’s intimate elopements or grand celebrations, his focus remains on preserving the authenticity of the day.
Reflecting on his 13-year journey, Roman offers advice he wishes he had embraced early on: “Attend more masterclasses.”
