Kim is truly one of the most amazing humans my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From our very first call together to sharing hugs at the end of our wedding day, Kim was incredible.
We knew we wanted Kim as our photographer for our wedding day before we even got engaged. Her breathtaking photos and videos were exactly what we imagined our day looking like. We booked with Kim just days after booking our venue about 19 months before our wedding date. This may sound like a lot of time but we knew Photos By SOTE was what we envisioned.
Kim curated the perfect shared google sheet for us throughout our planning journey and presented it to us before our final call. She had every detail on the sheet and truly helped us with little things we didn't even think of.
When it came to our wedding day, Kim and her team couldn't have been more welcoming, kind & truly so supportive from beginning to end. From hair fixes, to getting mic'd up for the day, Kim and Susan thought of everything and couldn't have made our day more perfect.
I hope that everybody getting married has Kim in your lives. If you're in Las Vegas, you can have THE Kim. Kim is truly amazing! She made the whole process so seamless and easy. I mean it when I say she went above and beyond. My husband and I aren’t very comfortable in front of the camera, but with Kim it felt like we were just hanging out and being ourselves. She and her team captured those organic, genuine moments so effortlessly, which made everything feel natural and fun.
She brought my vision for both our engagement shoot and wedding day to life even better than I could have imagined. We booked her for photography and videography, and her entire team was incredible.
If you want someone who’s passionate, detail-oriented, kind, talented, and creative, Kim and her team are the ones for you. She captured the true essence of our love in such a beautiful and effortless way. I honestly wish everyone could experience her talent. Being able to relive the beauty of our wedding day through her lens is something we’ll cherish forever.

I don’t know where to begin to describe how happy and lucky I was to find Kim and work with her for our elopement.

The big day with Kim was SO much fun, I wish I could relive it all over again. She brought my Pinterest board to life with our photos.

Getting our sneak peeks was the second best day of my life aside from the wedding. And then when you get the full album it’s like Christmas Day.

Absolutely the BEST photographer I have ever had the pleasure of working with! She was so fun and bubbly! She is very flexible if things aren’t going according to plan. I got back a huge sneak peak within 48 hours. I had met with several photographers around the Arizona and Nevada area before I booked with her. I knew almost instantly I wanted to book with her. If you are eloping like we did or just in the Vegas area, book with her! You will not regret it!!

Finding the perfect photographer for our Vegas Wedding was one of the most challenging parts of our wedding planning, especially since we’re not from the US (we’re from Germany). But it was so worth the effort when we found the amazing Kim Willoughby (@photosbysote) ♥️

After our elopement, we booked a 3.5-hour photoshoot around various iconic spots in Las Vegas with Kim. Not only does she have an incredible and unique style, but she also goes above and beyond for her clients. Kim provided invaluable advice on the best times of day for lighting, which even influenced when we scheduled our ceremony. She complemented our location ideas with her own fantastic suggestions, all of which we incorporated. Leading up to our big day, we had two Zoom calls to go over the planning and final details, which really helped us feel confident and relaxed. We knew Kim had a clear vision and that all our wishes would be taken into account.

One of the standout moments of working with Kim was the detailed questionnaire we received ahead of time. It asked about our preferences and ideas and included thoughtful questions about us as a couple—such an impressive and personal touch!
When the day finally arrived, Kim made us feel completely at ease. She kept us relaxed, provided continuous tips, and had creative ideas that resulted in stunning photos. Her editing style is beautiful, and each photo felt personal and unique. Despite the many clients and similar themes (and there’s only so many photo spots in Vegas), Kim ensures that each couple’s photos stand out and don’t feel generic. It was totally tailored to us and special!

We had an incredible time, felt comfortable throughout the session, and are absolutely thrilled with the results. Choosing Kim for our elopement photoshoot was one of the best decisions we made, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional photography! ♥️

PS for all potential future international clients: The Zoom calls, emails for planning, and the detailed questionnaire were especially helpful for us, as we obviously couldn’t meet in person beforehand with us not living in the US hahaha.
