11 years My name is Raphael Chen, and I founded Raphael Photography in 2014. We’re a Taiwan-based team specializing in wedding, pre-wedding, and private portrait photography. Our team is run by my partner Seraph and me, we work together to keep every session personal and heartfelt. I’ve always believed that shooting should be a comfortable and natural process. Fr om choosing the camera to guiding poses, I try not to intervene too much — allowing my couples to feel free, to the point wh ere they almost forget the photographer’s presence. That’s when their truest selves emerge, the moments they never imagined seeing, and that’s what defines my style.

A-lovely couple who are incredibly sincere, have a great sense of aesthetics, are highly professional, and communicate in a friendly manner. Even though I'm not a professional and my ideas about vintage wedding dresses are quite imaginative, they were able to grasp the key points immediately, which i found amazing! The location we chose had never been used before, and they even personally scouted it out before the actual shoot, which was very reassuring!

I first saw Raphael's work at a friend's wedding. I immediately thought their wedding photos were natural and had an ethereal beauty. When I decided to have my wedding photos taken, I consulted several studios (mostly recommended by friends or popular on Instagram), but I still liked Raphael's style the most, as well as their super efficient responses. Plus, the studio recommended us by our wedding planner, Ms. DouDou, and the wedding dress and suit studios, Evenmore and Repos, felt very
compatible with us. The overall experience during communication and fittings was excellent.

Having had three photoshoots done before, the bride should be considered experienced!
Although the shoot only lasted an afternoon, the pre-shoot discussions were extensive, making up for all the regrets from the first wedding photoshoot (Chaojing Park, Fairy Wands, our Frederick). He was also the photographer who took the couple's
"daughters and sons" (Frederick the Mouse) the most seriously! Moreover, he was the photographer who communicated the most with the groom (husband), and didn't treat him as a prop. We all agreed that the photos taken by Raphael were the most genuine and advertising-like set of wedding photos!
